We give our neighbor dog a little treat every time we go walking in the morning, and these were a great choice to ‘mix it up’ a little… I just hope we don’t spoil him. I think he liked the taste: he barely chewed it when inhaling it.

I used the Freeze Dried Beef Liver Dog Treats as a topper, not a treat. My dog Ginger is a picky eater who snubs high quality dry dog food. I took a rubber mallet and bashed up the bag of treats until I had a lumpy powder, and poured some over her dry dog food. She ate every nugget of dried food with the topper, and was at it like gangbusters! The package says “sourced in the U.S.A.”. That isn’t the same as “Made in the U.S.A.” but is still reassuring. Although expensive by weight, I needed only .2 ounces to get Ginger to eat her dinner, so I consider it cost-effective when purchased in larger quantities.
